Parul Nilakhe
Co-Founder & Principal Architect
Co- Founder & Principal Architect Parul Nilakhe is the visionary force behind Pinwheel Ventures. Since beginning her career in 2011, she has consistently demonstrated an exceptional blend of design thinking, strategic leadership, and operational excellence. As Founder and Principal Architect, Parul has not only shaped the creative ethos of Pinwheel but also built a high-performing senior team that shares her commitment to design innovation and integrity. With a sharp focus on systems, structure, and creative direction, Parul has led the practice to deliver spaces that are celebrated for their timeless character and bold storytelling. Her approach goes beyond aesthetics—every project under her leadership is a carefully crafted narrative rooted in authenticity, cultural context, and spatial intelligence. Parul’s leadership style reflects her deep passion for architecture, interiors, and the visual arts. Her design sensibility is elevated by intellectual rigor and a relentless pursuit of excellence, which permeates the firm’s processes and project outcomes. As a result, Pinwheel Ventures has earned a reputation for creating iconic spaces that blend function, emotion, and design clarity. An alumna of PIADS with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a major in Interior Design, Parul continues to lead Pinwheel Ventures with purpose, creativity, and a future-focused vision.
Pranav Saoji
Founder & Principal Architect
As the Founder and Principal of Pinwheel Architecture+Design, Pranav brings a bold and integrative vision to contemporary architecture. With over a decade of experience, he has led the design of a diverse portfolio spanning residential, institutional, and leisure spaces—each project a testament to his ability to elevate and transform the urban and suburban landscape. Pranav’s design leadership lies in his ability to merge architectural rigor with contextual sensitivity. His projects are defined by a deep exploration of environmental, economic, and social dimensions, resulting in spatial experiences that are both meaningful and enduring. His strategic approach and creative foresight have positioned him as a trusted consulting designer for major e-commerce brands. He has also served as Studio Head and Project Architect for several high-impact collaborations across industries. A passionate artist and multidisciplinary thinker, Pranav blends his love for the visual and performing arts into his architectural practice. A graduate of PIADS, Nagpur (Class of 2012), he has received multiple accolades for design excellence, including the prestigious Birla White Yuva Ratna Award at the international level. Beyond practice, Pranav is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of architects. Through Pinwheel Architecture+Design’s Internship Program, he continues to foster emerging talent, equipping students from across the country with the skills and insights to thrive in the field of design.

Pinwheel is a multidisciplinary design and build studio known for its bespoke, highly customized approach to space, furniture, and product design. Founded in 2012 by design duo Parul & Pranav, the studio was born from a shared dream to create a distinctive design venture offering turnkey solutions across residential, commercial, and experiential domains.

A graduate of PIADS, Nagpur and postgraduate from KRVIA, Mumbai, Rutuja blends technical expertise with artistic depth. Her work is defined by its sensitive materiality and an intuitive balance between form and function.

Jaykrishnan Pillai is an accomplished architect and urban planner with over 12 years of experience spanning residential, institutional, and ecological projects. With a strong foundation in Smart City and PMAY initiatives, he specializes in master planning and sustainable development. Gargi Chati
Associate Landscape Designer | 12+ Years
With over 12 years of experience in landscape architecture, Gargi brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to spatial design. A postgraduate from PIADS, her work is deeply informed by the principles of environmental psychology, ensuring every landscape she curates feels intuitive, immersive, and emotionally resonant.
